The Digital Master Assessment Test (dMAT) is a new aptitude test administered by g.a.s.t. It is required for specific Indian students applying for a Master's programme in Germany from Summer 2027 onwards, as part of the APS process.

Bachelor's and PhD applicants, as well as students in Life Sciences, Humanities, Arts, Law, and Medicine. Standalone B.Sc. Computer Science / IT students are also usually exempt unless APS specifically categorizes your degree as Engineering.

No. This is the hardest part of the exam. You are not allowed any external aids. All mathematical equations, variable substitutions, and pattern recognition matrices must be solved entirely in your head.
